Mysuru: Puri Jagannath Cultural and Welfare Trust & Orissa Association, Mysuru, have jointly organised the Nabakalebar (Pranapratisthapane) function of Prabhu Jagannath on Apr.1 and 2 at Prabhu Jagannath Temple on Vidyaranyapuram Main Road in city.

The programmes include Geetha Yagna, Bhajanas & Pranapratisthapane of Prabhu Jagannath. The function will be conducted by a team of Vedic Vidwan Priests from Puri, Odisha.

Mysuru-Kodagu MP Yaduveer Wadiyar will be the chief guest. Krishnaraja MLA T.S. Srivatsa will be the guest of honour. Ex-Corporators Bhuvaneshwari and Shobha Sunil will be guests.

Apr. 1: 2 pm – Ankuara Ropan & Yagna Bedi Pratishtapana; 7 pm – Celebration of Utkal Divas, Odissi dance by Vidu. Sindhu Kiran, Founder-Director of Rudra Nritya Yogashala, Mysuru; 9 pm – Prashad Seva.

Apr. 2: Kalash Yatra; 9 am – Mondala Puja ad Nyasha/ Yagna; 11 am – Pranapratishta Yagna; 2 pm – Purnahuti, 7 pm – Cultural programme and Bharatanatyam by B.V. Spoorthi, disciple of Vidya Rao of Durga Dance Academy, Mysuru; 9 pm – Prashad Seva.
