Mysore/Mysuru: The Mysuru District Uppara Employees and Professionals Association will be holding a Pratibha Puraskar, felicitation and awards distribution programme in December this year.

The Association has invited applications from meritorious students of Uppara community from Mysuru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya and Kodagu districts, who have scored over 85 percent marks in SSLC and PUC (2019-20), for presentation of Pratibha Puraskar. The meritorious students will also be conferred ‘Bhagiratha Vidyashri’ award.

B. Kaveri of Koodlapura in Nanjangud taluk, who received 4 Gold Medals and 7 Cash prizes in Economics at the University of Mysore’s (UoM) Centenary Convocation held recently and currently serving as a woman Police Constable (WPC) at Chamarajanagar will be conferred ‘Bhagirathi Suvarna Vidyashri’ award.

Dr. Shilpa of Mullur in Kollegal Taluk, who is doing her M.S. Degree in MMC&RI, will be conferred ‘Bhagiratha Vaidyashri’ award.

Dr. Mahadeva Prabhu of Madhuvanahalli in Kollegal taluk, who got his Ph.D degree at the UoM’s centenary Convocation and currently serving as an Assistant Professor, Dr.K. Somashekar of Nadukalu Mole village in Chamarajanagar taluk and other employees, retired employees and top community leaders will be felicitated on  the occasion.
