Mysuru: The six-week pre-incubation programme for aspiring entrepreneurs titled ‘IdealForge 2026,’ organised by GSS Technology Business Incubator Foundation (GSSSTBIF) with support from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, will be launched at GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women (GSSSIETW) on KRS Road in city tomorrow (Aug. 5).

Eminent scientists, industry leaders, startup ecosystem enablers, academicians, entrepreneurs and representatives from Government and industries will participate.

IdealForge 2026 is aimed to strengthen the startup ecosystem in Mysuru and neighbouring districts by identifying aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, students, researchers and early stage founders and equip them with knowledge, mentorship and ecosystem support required to build a sustainable startup.

The event also provides participants with access to GSSSTBIF incubation ecosystem to enable them to interact with experienced entrepreneurs, industry experts, mentors, investors and startup ecosystem leaders.

Promising startup teams will be considered for incubation and receive guidance in accessing various startup support schemes by the Government of India, including DST NIDHI Ignition grant support of up to Rs. 10 lakh.
