Mysore/Mysuru: A two-month pregnant woman allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself at her residence in Manasinagar yesterday afternoon. The deceased, identified as Sowmyashree (24), originally from Bengaluru, had been married to Manjunath of Manasinagar in the city for seven months.

According to reports, Sowmyashree took this extreme step while her family members were away. The motive behind her decision is currently unknown. Mysuru South (Rural) Police arrived at the scene, conducted an investigation, registered a case, and subsequently moved the body to the MMC&RI mortuary for post-mortem examination.
