Premakumari to contest Assembly elections

December 15, 2017

Mysuru: Premakumari, who had kicked-up a controversy claiming that former Minister S.A. Ramdas had secretly married her,  announced this morning that she would contest the ensuing Assembly Polls against the BJP leader.

Speaking to media persons, Premakumari said that she would fight against Ramdas from whichever Assembly constituency the former Minister contested. However, there is no information about Premakumari’s political affiliations.

It may be recalled here that Premakumari, a second division clerk at the Deputy Commissioner’s office in Tumakuru, had claimed to be in a relationship with Ramdas. Sometime back, she had stated that they had secretly tied the knot at her residence and demanded the former Minister to marry her again in public.  Ramdas had claimed that she was ‘mentally unsound’ and that she had approached him with a transfer request.
