President not coming to Mysuru

Mysuru: The visit of the President Ram Nath Kovind to Mysuru on Feb.6 before proceeding to Shravanabelagola on Feb.7 to participate in the Mahamastikabhisheka celebrations, has been cancelled.

The President will instead arrive at Bengaluru on Feb.6 where he will stay in Raj Bhavan overnight and reach Shravanabelagola, the following day (Feb.7), said a press  release from the Information Department.

It may be recalled that President Kovind was to arrive at Mysore Airport on Feb.6 and stay at the Government Guest House for the night before proceeding to Shravanabelagola.
