‘Private institutions must adopt neighbouring govt. schools’

September 15, 2017

Mysuru: A workshop on “Right To Education (RTE) Reimbursement” was conducted by CISPMAM (CBSE,ICSE, State and Private School Mangement Association Mysore Division) on Sept.9 at Manasarovara Pushkarini Vidyashram in city.

The programme was inaugurated by Sudhakar S. Shetty, President, CISPMAM.

He appealed the government to withdraw RTE and RTI as more  irregularities were being practiced than utility, and the benefits of the same were not reaching the deserving beneficiaries.

He opined that it was pathetic to note the role of Departmental Officers, RTE and RTI activists, and Local leaders who have vested interest.

Shetty urged the government to enforce the private institutions to adopt the neighbouring government schools and govern the functional aspects, instead of being ruthless on RTE implementation.  The meeting was also addressed by Shashi Kumar, General Secretary, KAMS and Chandrashekar, Nodal Officer, RTE.
