The following students of JSS Public School, J.P Nagar, Mysuru, have excelled in CBSE Cluster VIII Athletics Meet held at Kumadvathi Residential Central School, Shikaripura, Shivamogga: H.S. Harshitha of IX std. bagged gold medal in 200 mts and bronze medal in 400 mts running and Sughosh R. Joshi of IX std. bagged silver medal in discus throw.

They are now qualified to participate in the CBSE National Athletics Championship 2019-20, to be held at Allons Public School, Vill Bijabhat District, Bemetara, Chhattisgarh.
