The following are the prize winners of the 19th Edition of Engineers’ Cup Golf Tournament-2021 held at J.W. Golf Club in city on Dec. 11 and 12:

Strokeplay Gross – Dhruv Bopanna (69 Gross) – Winner; M.S. Shreyash Chandra (75 Gross) – Runner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 0 to 12): M.C.S. Manohara (68 Net) – Winner; M.R. Mohan Kumar (70 Net) – Runner. (Better Back 9 Over Phalguna V. Urs and Vidhatri K. Urs).

Strokeplay Net (H/C 13 to 18): Gayathri Mohan (64 Net) – Winner; J.N. Arjun (66 Net) – Runner.

Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 18): S.N. Hemanth (41 Points) – Winner; S. Pradyoth (38 Points) – Runner.

Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24) for Seniors above 65 years: Capt. K.K. Venkatesh (38 Points) – Winner; R.N. Sudarshan (38 Points) – Runner. (Better Back 9 Over R.N. Sudarshan).

Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24) for Super Seniors above 75 years: S.K. Ramalinge Gowda (31 Points) – Winner.

Narasimha Murthy (President, JWGC Engineer’ Golfing Association), M. Ramesh (Hon. Secretary, JWGC Engineer’s Golfing Association), Vinay Natarajan (Hon. Treasurer, JWGC Engineers Association) and others were present on the occasion.’

Best Engineer Golfer (Stable Ford Net H/C 0 to 18) – JWGC Engineers Association Members Only: Phalguna V. Urs (36 Points) – Winner; Vinay Natarajan (36 Points) – Runner. (Better Back 9 Over Vinay Natarajan).

Nearest to the Pin – 6th Hole: Dhruv Bopanna (8 Feet 7 Inches) – Winner.

Straightest Drive – 16th Hole: Mari Gowda (40.5 Inches) – Winner.

A total of 171 players took part in the event that was sponsored by JWGC Engineers Golfing Association, according to a press release from JWGC Hon. Secretary H.D. Thimmappa Gowda and Tournament Sub-Committee Chairman N. Parameshwar.
