Following are the prize winners of Inaugural Edition of Young Indians (Yi) Open Golf Championship held at J.W. Golf Club in city recently:

Strokeplay Gross: M.G. Chengappa (73 Gross) – winner; Ramesh Kumar Jain (76 Gross) – runner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 0 to 12): Lt. Gen. P.C. Thimmaya (71 Net) – winner (Better Back 9 Over Advaith Sanjay); Advaith Sanjay (71 Net) – runner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 13 to 18): Mahesh Gowda (64 Net) – winner;  Dr. Maneesh S. Giri (69 Net) – runner. (Better Back N. Parameshwar and Ram- prasad Thoravi).

Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 18): Janardhan Babu (39 Points) – winner; N. Parameshwar (37 Points) – runner. (Better Back 9 Over Ramprasad Thoravi).

Stableford Net (H/C 0 to 24) for seniors above 65 years: Vijay Kumar H. Bennur (41 Points) – winner; H.S. Gopinath (34 Points) – runner.

Best Yi Golfer (Stable Ford Net H/C 0 to 18): D.V. Rajiv – winner; Best Lady Golfer (Stable Ford Net H/C 0 to 24): Smitha S. Prabhakar (36 Points) – winner.

Nearest to the Pin – 2nd Hole: B.M. Prakash (7 Feet 2 Inches) – winner.

Straightest Dirve – 16th Hole: Jacob Thomas Paul (On The Line) – winner.

Longest Dirve – 9th Hole: Mahen Mallinath (320 Yards) – winner.

A total of 196 golfers took part in the Championship sponsored by Yi in association with Raj Infrastructure, according to a press release from JWGC Hon. Secretary M.R. Mohan Kumar and Tournament & Handicap Chairman K.S. Sudheer Bhat.
