Following are the prize winners of H.H. Sri Jayachamaraja Wadiyar Memorial Open Golf Championship-2023 (Maharaja’s Cup) held from Nov. 2 to 5 at J.W. Golf Club, Mysuru:

Strokeplay Gross (H/C 10<=18) – 36 Holes – Mysore Race Club (MRC) Chairman’s Trophy – Donated by M.W. Chinnappa, former Chairman, MRC: Dev Uthaiah (158 Gross) – Winner; V. Theertha Prasad (164 Gross) – Runner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 0<=12) – 36 Holes – Dr. C.D.S. Challenge Trophy  – Donated by Dr. C.D. Srinivas Murthy, former Chairman, MRC: V. Prakash (141 Net) – Winner; B.A. Ganapathi (142 Net) – Runner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 13<=18) – 36 Holes – Mysore Sports Club Rolling Trophy – Donated by F.K. Irani, former President, Mysore Sports Club: Deepak Kavale (136 Net) – Winner (Better Back 1 Over Suresh Balaram); Suresh Balaram (136 Net) – Runner.

Centenary Championship Trophy – 18 Holes – 1st Day – Inter-Club Team Event (Gross)  – Donated by H. Kusumakar Shetty, former Steward, MRC: Team JWGC – Shridhar Singh & M. Chirayu (140 Gross) – Winner.

Stableford Gross Score – 18 Holes – 1st Day – Challenge Cup – Donated by H.H. Sri Srikanta Datta Narasimha Raja Wadiyar (1981): K.A. Anil Kumar (29 Gross) – Winner (Better Back 9 Over Mukram Ulla Khan) – Winner; Mukram Ulla Khan (29 Gross) – Runner.

Stableford Net (0<=30) – 18 Holes – 1st Day – The Best Lady Golfer Trophy  – Donated by N.V. Babu, former Chairman, MRC: Jayanthi Ravi (39 Points) – Winner.

Strokeplay Net (H/C 19<=24) – 18 Holes – 1st Day – The Best Maharaja’s Golfer – Donated by M.L. Kantharaj Urs, Urs Kar Service Centre Pvt. Ltd. and Committee Member, MRC: M.A. Ramesh (44 Points) – Winner (Better Back 9 Over Praveen Ganapathy).

Stableford Net (H/C 0<=24) – 18 Holes – 1st Day – The Best Super Seniors Trophy – Donated by (Age 75 Years And Above) MRC: K.S. Mallappa Gowda (32 Points) – Winner.

A total of 317 golfers took part in the Championship conducted by the MRC, according to a press release from JWGC Hon. Secretary V.G. Achar and Tournament Sub-Committee Chairman M.A. Bopanna.
