Mysuru: GSSS Institute of Engineering and Technology for Women, KRS Road, Metagalli, Mysuru, had organised Second State-level Telecommunication Project Model Competition (TELEUSTAV – 2018) recently. The programme was organised by the Telecommunication Engineering Department in collaboration with IETE Mysuru Centre.
On this occasion, certificates were distributed to the winners and participants. The first, second and third place winners were awarded with cash prize, memento and model kit. Model kit was sponsored by Digital Shark Technologies, Bengaluru.
The first prize was won by V. Suraj, Vasuda G. Rao, K. Siradujini, Vinayaka V. Kulakarni of SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Ujiire, for the project titled “ADIHA Partner of Rubber Farmer.”
The 2nd prize was bagged by Ayush Jain, Harsh Jain, G. Chandan of R.V. College of Engineering, Mysuru Road, Bengaluru, for the project titled “Real Time Object Detection and Tracking using Deep learning and Open CV.” The third prize was shared by the two teams for the project titled “Automatic (Smart) Ration Distribution System” by D.K. Manikanta, B.P. Adarsh, S.V. Shreekar, S.J. Manu of Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shivamogga and for “Wild Animal Detection and Altering using X-band doppler radar for the Crop Protection” by R. Chaitra, M. Manasa, K. Sanjana, L. Thejaswini of GSSSIETW, Mysuru.
