Mysuru: The following are the prize winners of photography competition organised by Sri Chamarajendra Zoological Gardens (Mysuru Zoo) as part of 71st Wildlife Week Celebrations-2025:

In-situ category: K. Shivu – first, S.R. Madhusudhan – second, Uma Shankar,  G.S. Ravishankar and Sagar Suresh (Certificates of Merit).

Ex-situ category: Rahul Vishwanath – first, S.R.  Madhusudhan – second, M. Lokanath, Anoop R. Shankar and M.N. Lakshminarayana Yadav (Certificates of Merit).

 Mysuru Zoo has also organised a number of activities aimed at educating masses and creating awareness about the importance of wildlife and its conservation — photography exhibition, Face painting, Quiz etc. — from Oct. 2 to 8.

Oct. 4: As part of International Zoo Keepers Day, a short video on animal keepers will                           be released.

Oct. 5: Clay art on wild animals.

Oct. 6: Face Painting.

Oct. 7:  Online Quiz.

Oct. 8: On-the-spot Adoption Drive.

Oct.2-  8: Screening of Documentaries — 10.30 am to 11.30 am, 12 to 1 pm and 2 pm to 3 pm.
