Prizes were distributed to the winners of State-level Boys and Girls Karate Championship held in association with the Department of School Education (Pre-University) at Vijaya Vittala PU College in Saraswathipuram here on Thursday.

The winners in girls section are: Isha Shanmugan of Mysuru (64-kg girls – second place), Kashvi Suresh (60-kg – third place) and B.S. Varshini (68-kg – third place).

The winners in the boys section are: Tarunkumar (45-kg – second place), L. Supreet (50-kg – second place), M. Gunashekar (66-kg – third place), Mohammad Usman (70-kg – second place) and Y. Shreyas (74-kg – second place).
