Process of removing B-Kharab classification from Kurubarahalli Sy. No.4 under progress: MUDA Commissioner

August 4, 2020

Mysore/Mysuru: Days after the Urban Development  Department wrote a letter to Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) directing it to remove B-Kharab classification of 354.29 ½ acres of land coming under Kurubarahalli   Survey No. 4 and Alanahalli Survey No. 41, on which land Siddartha Nagar, J.C. Nagar, K.C. Nagar, Income Tax and Alanahalli Layouts have been formed by MUDA and CITB, MUDA Commissioner Dr. D.B. Natesh said that the process of removing B-Kharab classification in respect of the land of these five Layouts is underway.

The MUDA Commissioner’s statement comes after K.R. MLA S.A. Ramdas had said on Saturday that the property owners in these five Layouts can get land records such as Mutation and  Khata Registration from the MCC starting from Aug. 3.

Speaking to Star of Mysore D.B. Natesh said that following an order by the then Deputy Commissioner (DC) in 2015, the Tahsildar had marked as B-Kharab in the RTC (Land record) concerning the five Layouts. Now as the Government has ordered removal of B-Kharab classification, the process of removing the same has too begun at the Tahsildar level and all correspondence with the Government in this regard has ended.

Once the process of removal of B-Kharab classification ends, the MUDA will write to the MCC  saying  it can go ahead with the issuance of land records such as Khata Registration, Khata Transfer, Plan approval, stipulation of property Tax,  CR etc., to the property owners in the five layouts, he said and added that the residents can get the land records from the MCC after  MUDA completes its job.
