He was delivering the felicitation address at a function organised by Kadamba Sainya, Mandya, at Rotary Bhavan here to confer Kannada Kuladevate Sri Bhuvaneshwari Award, Nadakavi Huyilagola Narayanarao Award and Kadamba Seva Ratna Award on Sunday.
“With his treasure of knowledge, Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji has left his impression in all fields and is a pro-society saint who has innumerable disciples,” added Bannur K. Raju.
Speaking after accepting the Award, Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji said that his eyes see Temple, Mosque and Church as one. “All religions preach humanity. Hence, let us all feel we are one and live like good human beings,” he added.
Later, writer Gangadhara Kolagi of Banavasi was conferred Nadakavi Huyilagola Narayanarao Award, Mandya’s Thomas Benjamin Ukitty A. Jai Kumari and Devanahalli Devaraju were conferred with Kadmaba Couple (Dampati) Award, Vidu. Rajalakshmi Sridhar, Murugesh Bastikoppa, Chandrasheakara Aradya, Bhagyalakshmi Shivananjaiah, Gowramma Govindraju, Ganjam Parvathamma, Mohammed Shafiulla, E. Shivaswamy, M. Puttaswamy, auto drivers Nanjundaswamy, Manchanna, Puttaraju, Basavaraju were conferred with Kadamba Seva Ratna Awards and were felicitated by Prof. Bhashyam Swamiji.
Kadamba Sainya Founder-President Bakery Ramesh presided. Srirangapatna Kannada Sahitya Parishat President Saraswatamma Basavaraju and others were present.
