Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed unanimously elected as RMET Hon. President

Mysore/Mysuru: Prof. Syed Akheel Ahmed, Founder and former VC of Yenepoya University, was unanimously elected as Hon. President of Rifa-hul Muslimeen Educational Trust (RMET), Mysuru and Dr. M.D. Muneer Ahmed as Vice-President with immediate effect.

At an emergent meeting of Board of Trustees of RMET held on Dec. 2 in the Chambers of RMET Hon. Secretary, the Board also accepted the resignation of Prof. Riyaz Ahmed to the post of RMET President and Hon. Secretary of Farooqia Women’s Education, according to a press release from Taj Mohamed Khan, RMET Hon. Secretary.
