Prohibitory orders around exam centres tomorrow

With the UPSC scheduled to conduct NDA, NA (11)  and CDS (11) exams tomorrow (Apr.10), City Police have clamped prohibitory orders (Section 144 of CrPC) in 200 Mts. radius around all the seven exam centres in city between 6 am and 6 pm.  The seven centres are — Marimallappa PU College, D. Banumaiah PU College, Maharani Government PU College for Girls, Nizamia Government PU College for Girls on Ashoka Road, MMK and SDM College, Krishnamurthypuram, Government PU College, Vontikoppal and Government PU College, Kuvempunagar.

Accordingly, all photocopy shops in the vicinity of the exam centres have been ordered to shut down for the day. Also, barring candidates and exam officials, no unauthorised persons will be allowed entry to the centres, according to a press release from the City Police Commissioner.
