Project Prerepana: Women  trained in tailoring

Mysuru: NR Foundation, the philanthropic arm of NR Group, recently concluded a tailoring training programme for the residents of Bharathnagar, Mysuru, in association with Swami Vivekananda Youth Movement (SVYM).

In this four-month programme, 20 women were trained under the guidance of 85-year-old Sathyavathi Rao, a retired bank employee.  Completion Certificate and Tailoring Kit were handed over to the trainees at the valedictory function of the programme held under Project Prerepana to empower women by providing them job opportunities.

Anusha, Sub-Inspector, Kuvempunagar Police Station, Anitha, Head-Operations, SPPL, NR Group, Dr. Jayaprakash Rao, Media Advisor of Commissioner and Sindhu Suresh, Director, SVYM, were the chief guests.
