Over 1,000 people, under the banner of Badthi Meesalathi (SC/ST) Samrakshana Samithi and led by Urilingi Peddi Mutt Seer Sri Jnanaprakasha Swamiji and former Mayor Purushotham, taking out a protest march from Town Hall to the DC’s Office seeking reservation in promotion. The protesters after reaching the DC’s Office, staged a protest for some time and later handed over the memorandum to an official.
