Protest rally at Delhi on Mar.31 for women’s reservation

Mysuru: A protest rally is being organised on Mar.31 at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi at 3 pm demanding the implementation of Women’s Reservation Bill and various other issues, said All India SC, ST, BC and Minorities Welfare Federation President Dr. N. Hanumanthappa.

He was addressing a press conference at Patrakarthara Bhavan here yesterday and said that this protest rally has been organised by the Federation. National President of the Federation R. N. Chandolia, General Secretary K. Nageshwara Rao, Treasurer M.S. Meena will lead the protest in which more than 10,000 people from all over the country will participate, he added.

In the name of cow slaughter, minorities are being killed by cow vigilantes and no action is being taken against them which is regrettable.

Prime Minster Modi who came to power promising jobs has failed to fulfil his promise. The students who have got Post Graduation degrees are not even getting second division clerk jobs, the alleged.

The Women’s Reservation is just there for namesake as only one woman — Jayamala has been given the Minister’s post, he alleged.

K. Nageshwara Rao, Chandolia and Ramesh were present at the press meet.
