Mysore/Mysuru: Strongly condemning the continuing atrocities and violence against minority Hindus in neighbouring Bangladesh, Hindu activists, under the banner of Hindu Rashtriya Samanvaya Samiti, staged a demonstration in front of the DC’s office here yesterday.
“The minority Hindu community in Bangladesh is being targeted by anti-Hindu groups. The brutal killing of Dipu Chandra Das has posed serious questions about the safety and security of minority Hindus in Bangladesh who are living there for decades. Atrocities and violence against Hindus have continued unabated in Bangladesh, which has posed a serious threat to the lives of lakhs of Hindus in that country. The atrocities against Hindus are also a blatant violation of Human Rights. The Bangladesh Government must act against hooligans who are attacking Hindus,” they maintained and called for urgent intervention of the Indian Government for ensuring that the rights and freedom of Hindus in Bangladesh are not curtailed.
Leader Gopal and others took part in the protest.
