PU Lecturers threaten to boycott evaluation over wage disparity

February 17, 2018

Bengaluru: Upset over the Government’s apathetic attitude, PU lecturers have threatened to boycott evaluation works if their demand for ending wage disparity is not met.

With the PUC exam scheduled to commence from the second week of March, the lecturers are pressing the Government for meeting their long-standing demand for resolving wage disparity.

Seeking fulfilment of their demand, the PU lecturers had observed ‘Black Shivaratri’ to register their protest.

The PU College Lecturers Association has warned the Government that the PU lecturers will not be scared by ESMA and were ready to go to jail. The association has urged the Government to resolve the row at the earliest.
