Udupi: A girl student, who had failed in Kannada language despite passing in all the subjects with first class marks in the recently announced II PUC results, has committed suicide.

The deceased student is Prajna Shetty (18), a resident of Brahmavar Nalkur village in Udupi district.

After the results were announced on Monday, Prajna’s relatives in Bengaluru, saw her results and came to know that she had failed in Kannada language by scoring   only 4 marks, it is learnt.
