33 trees marked for felling near Kukkarahalli Lake

Mysuru: The Forest Department has invited objections and suggestions from the public for the proposal to cut 33 trees for the Road Underbridge (RUB) works, at the Railway Level Crossing (LC-1) near Kukkarahalli Lake, on Mysuru- Chamarajanagar train route.

On request from the Assistant Executive, National Highways Sub-Division, the environmentalists and general public may submit objections and suggestions by Sept. 16 before 6 pm via e-mail to [email protected] or via post to the Tree Officer and Assistant Conservator of Forests (ACF), Mysuru Sub-Division,  Aranya Bhavan, Ashokapuram – 570008, according to a press release from the Tree Officer and ACF, Mysuru Sub-Division.
