Seizure of fake medicines in Bengaluru
Mysuru: Fake medicines seized in Bengaluru has nothing to do with the medicines being sold in medical stores and hence the public need not worry, said State Registered Pharmacists Association President Dr. Kowshik Devaraju.
Addressing a press meet in city, he said that the fake medicines seized in Bengaluru have no links to the medicines being sold in medical stores. Authorities concerned conduct inspections of medical stores regularly and hence they are reliable.
Association office-bearer C.K. Arun said that there is a growing trend of purchasing medicines online which is dangerous and patients should be cautious. District President M. Raju, Deepak, Vasanth Joshi and Mansoor Ahmed Khan were present.
