As a prelude to the State-level Brahmins Conference, hundreds of members of the Mysuru City and District Brahmin Association took out a publicity bike rally in city yesterday.

The rally commenced at Sri Yoganarasimhaswamy temple in Vijayanagar and passed via Parakala Mutt, Shankar Mutt, Rama Mandira and other places of worship before reaching Ganapathy Ashrama.

District Co-operative Union President H.V. Rajeev, former MUDA Chairman K.R. Mohankumar, Sri Ilai Alwar Swamiji, Sangha President D.T. Prakash, Members Vikram Iyengar, Ajay Shastri, Ganeshprasad, writer D.N. Krishnamurthy and others were present.
