Bengaluru: The pre-release event of late actor Puneeth Rajkumar-starrer ‘Gandhada Gudi’ movie will be released at  ‘Puneetha Parva’ programme to take place at Krishna Vihar in Bangalore Palace Grounds at 6.30 pm today (Oct.21).

The film, which is the last one of ‘Appu’ as Puneeth Rajkumar was fondly called, is set for release on Oct. 28, a day before his first death anniversary (Oct.29). The late actor’s wife Ashwini Puneeth Rajkumar and the family of thespian Dr. Rajkumar will be at the forefront of the programme, which has earned a lot of attention in the State.

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is among the 500 VIPs invited for the event, which features a musical nite by renowned singers Kunal Ganjawala and Armaan Malik. The event will also feature a dance performance by well-known actors Prabhudeva, Ramya and a host of other actors from different film industries. 

Popular South Indian actors such as Balakrishna, Rana Daggubati, Kamal Hasan, Surya, Prabhudeva, Kichha Sudeep, Yash, Darling Krishna, Dolly Dhananjay etc., are expected to take part in the glittering ‘Puneetha Parva’ event to be held  in honour of late Puneeth Rajkumar, whose last film ‘Gandhada Gudi’ is set for global release.

With thousands of fans and people expected to attend the unique event this evening, the Bengaluru City Police have made elaborate security and vehicle parking arrangements at the Palace Grounds.
