Purna Chethana launches bedtime stories for children

August 26, 2025

Mysore/Mysuru: In the world that changes every day with new gadgets, Purna Chethana School in Mysuru is making attempts to revive the old culture of bedtime stories to foster imagination and instil values into the young minds.

The school has embarked on a mission to revive bedtime storytelling through its innovative programme — The Shubharatri Stories (Goodnight Stories).

According to School CEO B. Darshan Raj and CAO Maadhurya Ramaswamy, the goal is to let children fall asleep to the rhythm of stories while imbibing values that define our nation.

Ever since its launch, over 2,000 children have become regular listeners.  Recorded with the aid of modern technology, these audio stories are distributed free of charge, ensuring that every child can access this treasure trove of tales. Parents, who like their child to experience these stories, may visit https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1lZrM suw2q_NDxMzdAl8-jRutTkF3lU Ca to download the audio files.
