Putting a spanner in MCC works…

While the Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) is doing all that it can to project Mysuru as the cleanest city in the ongoing Swachh Survekshan, the ornamental cement bollards (a short post used to prevent traffic from entering an area on the footpaths, making it a place exclusive for pedestrian movement) installed in the surroundings of Mysore Palace are being damaged by motorists, literally putting a spanner in the works. These bollards were broken as a vehicle hit them near the Varaha Gate of the Palace, defeating the very purpose of the MCC installing them as part of city beautification.
