R. Lokesh (47), a resident of 6th Cross, Madhuvana Layout in Srirampura, passed away yesterday due to heart attack. He leaves behind his wife P.S. Shilpa, son L. Aadvik and a host of relatives and friends. Last rites were performed at K.G. Koppal Burial Grounds in Kuvempunagar this afternoon, according to sources.

Lokesh was a cricket coach and a qualified KSCA cricket umpire. He had also served as local manager for many visiting teams during Ranji Trophy matches and other tournaments.

KSCA Mysuru Zone and Umpires have condoled his demise.
