“Raagamaalika Darshana” musical feature on Sunday

Mysuru: Surabhi Gaanakala Mandira is presenting its Tri-monthly cultural programme, which comprises a musical feature  “Raagamaalika Darshana,” on Sunday (Mar. 24) at 6 pm at Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama auditorium in Yadavagiri.

The  main aim of the programme is to bring out the role of Raagamaalika in different forms of compositions of Karnatak classical music like Geethe, Swarajathi, Varna, Krithi and Raaga, Thaana and Pallavi.

The students of ‘Surabhi’ are presenting it under the direction of their Guru Dr. Sukanya Prabhakar.

Vid. C.N. Thyagarajan and Vid. Sai Shivu Lakshmikeshav are accompanying them on violin and mridanga respectively
