Raghavan (67), cricketer and a resident of Sonar Street in city, passed away yesterday following brief illness.

He leaves behind his wife, a son, a daughter and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at the foot of Chamundi Hill yesterday.

Raghavan, an all-rounder, had represented Mysore State School team (1966-67), University of Mysore (1970-71) and Ideal Jawa (1973-96). He had represented Jai Hind Cricket Club in Mysuru Zonal League. He was also a qualified KSCA Cricket Umpire.

Condoled: KSCA Mysuru Zone, Presidents and Secretaries of Cricket Associations and Association of Cricket Umpires Karnataka (ACUK) have condoled his death.
