Railway Reservation Office in Madikeri shutdown

Mysuru: The Computerised Advanced Reservation Office (PRS) of the Railways, functioning at the Municipal Complex in Madikeri Town, has been temporarily shutdown to evaluate the structural damage, if any, to the building on account of heavy rains and floods.

The Railways is taking this step as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of those visiting the reservation office. The services will resume once an all-clear certificate is issued by the competent authorities.

South Western Railway, has in a press release, regretted the inconvenience caused to travellers on account of temporary suspension of services at Madikeri, according to S.G.Yatish, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager and PRO.
