Rain havoc: Woes of Dattagalli residents

August 30, 2022

Sir,

Due to heavy rains, Dattagalli residents are facing a major problem of the Lingambudhi Lake backwater totally flooding the area and entering the houses. Kautilya School in the locality is also affected by this.

Around 25 houses have had to bear the brunt of this water-logging as some of the inmates are stuck inside and they can’t move outside their house. Moreover many people have to put up with the menace of mosquitoes and snakes. Will the  authorities concerned please help us?

Manoj Lingaraju, Dattagalli, 28.8.2022
