Ramakrishnegowda (74), a former Gram Panchayat (GP) Member and a resident of Gunghral Chhatra in Yelwal hobli of the taluk, passed away yesterday.

He leaves behind his wife Lakshmamma, two sons, a daughter, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.

Last rites were performed at his farmland this afternoon.
