Sir,
I would like to bring it to the notice of senior authorities concerned that corruption has crossed the limits in Mysuru City Corporation (MCC) Zonal Offices. For any request or a service, these people are charging heavy bribes by brainwashing gullible people who have limited knowledge on the Government procedures.
Mostly, an agent is hired by some of these officials and they deal with customers through these agents. They also confuse by creating some fake stories which eventually petrifies people and victimises them. (They allegedly say that documents might get misplaced or lost if they delay as per the Government timelines, so pay bribe and get the documents within 2-3 days). It’s really hard to even obtain a simple document such as Khata transfer letter or Residential proof from these offices.
Hence, I request the authorities to keep an eye on these officials and also make the Government procedures more transparent to the public.
Online applications with online payment and strict timelines would be a possible solution to limit alleged corruption.
