Mysore/Mysuru: Ranga Rathna-2025 Award instituted by Canada-based Belly Meditation Master Tarneiv and Engineer N.S. Anand was presented to theatre artiste and Director Dr. Sahana Pinjar at a function held at Kiru Rangamandira in Kalamandira premises, this morning.

The award comprising Rs. 10,000 cash prize and a citation was presented to her by Kuvempu University Vice-Chancellor Dr. U.A. Sharath Ananthamurthy.

Later, the English play ‘Ayaan Shanthi Kuteera’ written by late Na. Rathna was released by senior theatre artiste Dr. Rameshwari Varma.

Na. Rathna’s daughter Kavitha Rathna and son Ajith Rathna, senior theatre artiste Rathna Mirle and others were present.
