‘Ranga Sambhrama’ at GSSSIETW

Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Roopaka Ranga’ a drama club of GSSSIETW, Mysuru, had organised ‘Ranga Sambhrama’ at Sri. M Govinda Rao Memorial Hall, GSSSIETW, Mysuru recently.

D. Yogananda Arasikere, Convener, Drama workshops and Manager, Theatre Tour Division, Rangayana, Mysuru was the chief guest. In his speech he emphasised the importance of Drama and Art in education. Drama leads to holistic learning, accelerates personality development, life skills, problem-solving skills, leadership, cooperation and collaboration. He also briefed about the drama classes conducted in and around city.

Dr. M. Shivakumar, Principal, GSSSIETW, who presided, stressed on the importance of learning Drama.

Later, students performed two dramas —  ‘Manaviyathe Yellide’ and ‘College Life’.
