‘Rangabhoomi Kalpavruksha’ and ‘Kannada Kuvara’ Awards conferred

Sanchalana Mysore President Deepak Mysore was conferred with ‘Rangabhoomi Kalpavruksha’ and artiste Maruthesh Kalapura was presented with ‘Kannada Kuvara’ award during the valedictory of the 5-day ‘Sanchalana Children’s Theatre and Folk Art Festival — Kuniyonu Baara…,’ organised by Sanchalana Mysore, in association with Arka Dhama, Shravanashrama, Bhoomideepa and Sri Kashi Vishwanatha Temple Trust, at the Temple premises in G.B. Sargur on Nov. 26. Folklore State Awardee Govindegowda, Assistant artiste Shashank, Manju, Prashanth, Nagu, Music Director Sohal were also felicitated. Lecturer S. Swamy, G.B. Sargur Government Higher Primary School Head Mistress Jayamma, former Legislator Chikkanna’s son Jayaprakash, Srinivas Arka of Arka Dhama, village leaders, GBS Siddegowda, Nataraju, Industrialist Dharmesh, advocate Mohan and Rajanna of Bhoomideepa were present on the occasion.
