150th birth anniversary celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhi Bhajans by renowned artiste Ramachandra Hadapad and team, 5 pm; Minister C.T. Ravi inaugurates the second phase of ‘Ranga Payana,’ staging the play based on the life of Mahatma Gandhi titled ‘Papu Gandhi Bapu Gandhi Aada Kathe’ across the State, District Minister V. Somanna launches the event, MLA L. Nagendra presides, MP Pratap Simha, Mayor Pushpalatha Jagannath, Kannada and Culture Secretary R.R. Jannu, former Director of Kannada and Culture Department N.R. Vishu Kumar chief guests, 6 pm; Staging of play ‘Papu Gandhi Bapu Gandhi Aada Kathe,’ Vanaranga, Rangayana premises, 6.30 pm.
