Rangayana must stage plays at different venues in Mysuru

February 6, 2023

Sir,

I hereby appeal to authorities of Rangayana theatre repertory to present their shows at different venues in Mysuru city.

I am 70-year-old and a theatre lover who has not missed any plays of Rangayana for the past 25 years.

Now, owing to age factor, it is difficult to commute between my house and Rangayana, a 6-km distance, that too in late evening hours. Many of my friends and acquaintances express similar opinion, when I discuss about some plays staged at Rangayana.

There are suitable venues in different extensions of Mysuru city to stage the plays. Adaptability and improvisation could not be a problem, as Rangayana is presenting its shows at  different places in Karnataka and outside.

I hope that the Director of Rangayana and authorities concerned will consider and take a positive action in this regard.
