Rangayana to offer 10-month diploma

Mysore/Mysuru: Bharatiya Ranga Shikshana Kendra (Bharatiya Theatre Institute) of Rangayana, Mysuru, has invited applications for a 10-month diploma course in theatre recognised by KSGH Music and Performing Arts University, Mysuru, for the year 2022-2023.

Candidates in the age group of 18-28 years and having passed PUC or equivalent course may apply. Selected candidates will be provided with lodging facilities apart from a monthly student scholarship of Rs. 3,000 and Rs. 2,000 for tiffin/meals allowance.

Application form can be downloaded from the Rangayana website [www.rangayana.org] and filled-in forms must be submitted at the Rangayana office before June 17 (by 5.30 pm) either by post or in person.

Along with application form and necessary documents, candidates must pay application fee of Rs. 200 for general category and Rs. 150 for SC/ST, Category-1 in the form of DD drawn in favour of Joint Director, Rangayana, Kalamandira premises, Vinoba Road, Mysuru-570005.

Those sending entries through post, must send a DD for amount that includes both application fee (according to their category) and prospectus charges (Rs. 30).

Interview date will be intimated to candidates through post within 10 days after the last date for submitting applications. For the interview, which will be held at Rangayana premises, students must come on their own expenses. Maximum of 15 students will be selected for the course.
