Ratha Sapthami: Mass Suryanamaskar

As part of Ratha Sapthami, Mysuru Yoga Federation (Mysuru Yoga Okkoota) will be organising Mass 108 Suryanamaskar and Surya Yajna in front of Kote Anjaneyaswamy Temple, Palace North Gate on Feb.19 from 5.45 am to 7.15 am. Ratha Sapthami is an auspicious festival celebrated by Hindus and is dedicated to Lord Surya. The festival is also celebrated as Surya Jayanti or Magha Saptami. It’s symbolic representation is Sun God Surya riding his chariot drawn by seven horses with the arrival of spring and harvesting season.

Hundreds of yoga enthusiasts are expected to take part in the Mass 108 Suryanamaskar and Surya Yajna event. For details, contact Mob: 94498-86387.
