Mysore/Mysuru: ‘Ratnakar Nenapu’, a programme in memory of late actor and comedian Ratnakar, will take place at Nadabramha Sangeetha Sabha on JLB Road at 6 pm on Sept. 23.

Announcing this at a press meet here recently, singer  Raghavendra Ratnakar said that the programme has been organised under the aegis of Ratnakar Abhimaanigala Balaga.

Ratnakar had enthralled the audience through his comedy roles in films in the 1960s and 70s. Ratnakar, who made his cinema debut through B.R. Pantulu’s film Vichitra Prapancha’, has acted in over 50  Kannada films, he said.

MLA T.S. Srivatsa, Acting Mayor Shivakumar,  former MPVL Chairman Raghu R. Kautilya and others will  participate in the programme.

Theatre personality N. Nagachandra and Dr. Preetam Ratnakar were present at the press meet.
