Mysuru: K.G. Viswanathan has been appointed as the new Managing Director of Bank Note Paper Mill India Private Limited (BNPMIPL), Mysuru.

Viswanathan assumed charge as the Company’s third Managing Director on Dec.2.

He was earlier working with BNPMIPL as Chief General Manager (Technical).

The Company is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) of Government of India, jointly promoted by Security Printing and Minting Corporation of India Limited (SPMCIL) — A Government of India enterprise and Bharatiya Reserve Bank Note Mudran Private Limited (BRBNMPL) —  A wholly owned subsidiary of Reserve Bank of India (RBI) engaged in production of Currency Papers and Bank Note Papers. The Corporate Office and Factory is situated in Note Mudran Nagar, Mysuru, with a total capacity of 16000 MT per annum.
