RC orders transfer of 45 cases to Kodagu DC’s Court

February 18, 2025

Mysuru: The Regional Commissioner (RC) of the Mysuru Revenue Division has directed the transfer of 45 cases under Section 136(3) of the Karnataka Revenue Act to the Court of the Kodagu Deputy Commissioner (DC).

The order, issued on Feb. 14, follows an appeal by the President of Mysore Bar Association and aligns with an earlier directive from the Mysuru DC (Order No: Mysdc-/RPMS/35/2025 E-712059).

Mysore Bar Association had raised concerns that continuing hearings in the Mysuru DC’s Court could compromise fair and impartial justice for the parties involved.

Upon review, the Regional Commissioner identified lapses in the orders issued by the Assistant Commissioner’s Court in Mysuru regarding these 45 cases.

Consequently, the cases have been transferred to the Kodagu DC’s Court for further hearings and disposal.
