Abdul Majid was re-elected as the State President of SDPI (Social Democratic Party of India) on the concluding day of the two-day Convention of the party held at White Palace on Ring Road in Bannimatap here recently. The other office-bearers elected are as follows:

Vice-Presidents: Abdul Hannan, Devanur Puttananjaiah and Shahida Tasneem; General Secretaries: Mujahid Pasha, Majid Tumbe, B.R. Bhaskar Prasad and Afsar Kodlipet; Secretaries: Afsar K.R. Nagar, Angadi Chandru, Akram Maulana, Ramzan Kadiwal and Riyaz Kadambu, Treasurer: Amjad Khan.
