Re-introduce traffic signal lights at busy Hardinge Circle

March 14, 2022

Sir,

Hardinge Circle (Jayachama-raja Wadiyar Circle) is one the most important junctions of Mysuru city. It is one of the busiest Circles with vehicular traffic movement from six roads.

Also there is a lot of movement of KSRTC buses, private buses as well as two, three and four- wheelers.

Earlier, traffic signal lights were functioning and traffic movements were quite safe and smooth. Now these traffic signals have become defunct.

I request the authorities concerned to re-introduce traffic signal lights or at least depute a few Traffic Police staff to regulate the disorderly traffic movement.
