This is about my letter titled “Dangerous and unscientific road hump in Old Kesare” (SOM dated Aug. 26, 2023). Even after six months, the unscientific speed-breaker installed near Old Kesare Government School, intended to reduce vehicle speed and ensure the safe movement of school children, remains unaddressed.

This hump continues to inconvenience motorists, with two-wheelers and cars visibly struggling to traverse the obstacle. Despite our repeated appeals, the authorities concerned have failed to rectify the problem.

We once again urge the MCC Commissioner and the concerned engineers to promptly take corrective measures and re-lay the road hump to facilitate smooth flow of traffic.
